Message	with it going into safety boost. It is a factory feature. The Detonation sensor, senses a certain sound (detonation) and retrards the timing and turns the boost down. If the harness for the det sensor is messed up, it can cause you to go into safety boost. I believe there are other reasons how it may go into safety boost as well.
